worked within the fields of Energy Psychology, Psycho-Spiritual

life-enhancing practices. Lumenaria is a co-founder of
Awaken Unity, a spiritual organization based in San Francisco’s North

With over fifteen years of experience in the personal development field including a master's degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of San Diego, California (2001) and special training in energy transformation, Karen draws on a variety of techniques to facilitate your process of life mastery.
Karen's own process of life mastery began in 1998 when she decided to take full responsibility for her life and chose to break free from limitation to follow her heart and dreams. As a result, her spirit came alive. The early deaths of her brother in 1999 and her father in 2002 were catalysts for a deeper spiritual awakening in which she began to experience the mystical in everyday life. During a group meditation in 2005, a deep and profound event forever changed her...she experienced her True Being - its enormity, power and light. She witnessed her immense soul trying to fit into her small body, like it was trying on a suit one hundred times too small, and laughed out loud. In that moment, she knew the joy of her Infinite Being and experienced Oneness with all that is.
